The Bartlesville Development Corporation in conjunction with Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Rogers State University, and Tri County Technology Center will conduct the area’s first Business Plan Competition that will begin immediately and conclude with the naming of the winning entry on March 27.
The Bartlesville Regional Business Plan Competition is designed to encourage entrepreneurism and the development of high-growth business in the Bartlesville region. The winning business plan will receive numerous prizes including training, incubator space, advice, in kind services, and cash.
Entrants of the Business Plan Competition must be legal residents of the state of Oklahoma and 18 years of age on or before Jan. 1 in order to compete. Each entrant is allowed to submit only one business plan. Business Plans for the competition must be submitted no later than 5 p.m., Jan. 26 and an entry fee of $100 is required.
As a part of the Business Plan Competition there will be several training and coaching sessions planned. The first Business Plan Training Day is scheduled for Nov. 20.
